License No. and State:
On a personal level, I am married and the father of four children who are now adults. My professional experience is broad, spanning more than 40 years of clinical practice. My background also includes extensive work in the training of other clinicians and doctoral students, as well as in the maintenance of departmental leadership in a major medical center, and in the maintenance of executive and advisory positions for several healthcare organizations.
But clinical practice has been my passion and the primary focus of my professional career. Over the years, I have worked with couples, families, individual adults, and adolescents who exhibit a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal problems. In an attempt to provide coordinated care, I frequently work collaboratively with other professionals, especially psychiatrists and primary care physicians. It is my intent to provide my clients with the best available care.
If you are looking for support and guidance through a challenging situation or you are just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
During my long career I have worked in various settings and in various positions. I have, for the past twenty years been exclusively in private practice. Prior to that I was a clinical supervisor at the Graduate School of Applied an Professional Psychology at Rutgers University, CEO of Advanced Provider Systems, Chief Psychologist at Jersey Shore Medical Center, and partner in a psychology group practice. I have, over the years, worked with a great variety of patients and trained numerous currently practicing psychologists.
My graduate training took place at Rutgers University, where I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology, and at the Pennsylvania State University, where I obtained my Master of Science degree in Psychology.
