Professional Statement

I am a counseling psychologist who has served on the Psychology Board of the State of New York. I am a Fellow of The Society for Counseling Psychology (17), of Women's Psychology (35), and of Division 29 (Psychotherapy). I have an independent practice in psychotherapy, executive coaching, supervision and career counseling, and I work active duty and veteran military individuals and families.


Professor Emerita in the Department of Organization and Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University, I have taught Army offeicers in the Eisenhower Leader Development Program at USMa how to do coaching. I am an executive coach I do supervision and career counseling, and I consult with individuals, non-profit organizations, and businesses of varying sizes. My articles have appeared in the Journal of Vocational Behavior, the Journal of Career Assessment, the Career Development Quarterly, the American Behavioral Scientist, and the Journal of Clinical Psychology.
