I use the Bible, compassion, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients. 26 years of Doctoral level experience, plus 40 years of ministering experience (since I was 15). I will be direct and honest but also very kind and loving. I do not believe in shaming, though personal responsibility. I want you to be able to see yourself in light of the truth of God's word, both the good about you and the bad.
I deal with all mental health areas, but have been specializing in Infidelity, Marital Recovery, Trauma Recovery, Sex addiction, Performance Anxiety, Jealousy, & Sex Coaching. I treat all kinds of relationship issues, depression & anxiety problems. I also worked in health care settings and know those issues as well as grieving and facing death. No judging! You are safe here. I am an imperfect sinner myself and will share my own stories when appropriate.
You will have full privacy and confidentiality. Your secrets are safe with me. I am not just a doctor with professional knowledge of how to help, but also a real person who can genuinely understand and care. I am not uptight or academic, or shrinky! I also do Christian hypnotherapy - to quiet the mind, relax the body.

I have the most education and also experience a client could hope for (although I humbly think it is my ability to connect compassionately that trumps these things).

My Masters program was At Wheaton College and did an excellent job of combining psychology with Christianity.
My Doctoral program at Our Lady of the Lake did an amazing job of hands on training, and teaching me to value my clients and to really listen to them and value their perspective, along with great ideas for techniques for helping others.
