Professional Statement

As a clinical psychologist, I am trained to identify, diagnose and treat psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders. I am a healer by nature and profession. Intuitive, compassionate and sensitive to the suffering of others. I am invested in and care deeply about each patient, and am here to help each one make positive change. I help patients identify problems and define their goals for therapy, which may include personal, interpersonal, social, career, and educational, changes, adjustments, developments and improvements.

I specialize in anxiety disorders, depression, relationships, trauma and anger management, and treat individuals, couples and families (adults, teens and children over six) and give them powerful tools that can help them immediately and moving forward into their lives. I’m trained in several empirically supported therapeutic techniques and often employ elements of different modalities to form a cohesive treatment plan for each patient. Modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Attachment-Based Therapy.

Importantly, I take an individualized approach to understand each patient's history, taking into consideration their unique experiences, feelings and perspectives belonging only to them. I hope to have the opportunity to work together with you to reach your goals and potential.
