Everyone’s story is different, but all of my clients have to same goals to feel better, personal growth, and to live their best life!
I have been through some inevitable life experiences that lead me to counseling/therapy. I can remember feeling like no one understood what I was going through. I felt alone, lost, and that my world was shattered into a million pieces. Asking for help was hard, but I am so glad I did! The positive transformation that occurred during my therapeutic process is why I chose to become a clinical psychologist.
I completed Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida. I specialize in providing services for adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse/addiction. I also work with adults challenged by stressor-related factors during times of transition such as the termination of a romantic relationship, marital problems, bereavement, and business difficulties.
Throughout my career, I have worked in homeless shelters, community mental health clinics, group practices, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, acute rehabilitation centers, and nursing facilities, finding great satisfaction in working with a variety of individuals and facing varying difficulties. Prior to relocating to the West Coast of Florida, I was the chief clinical officer of two residential chemical dependency facilities in Palm Beach County.
