Professional Statement
Dr. Ganey is a clinical psychologist specializing in working with children and adolescents. His practice consists of 70% adolescents, ages 12-28. He does work with adults as well. Dr. Ganey works with individuals to help them understand themselves better and grow to be the very best version of who they can be. His goal is to work himself out of a job, that individuals can carry on the work that they have started in therapy. Dr. Ganey's approach to therapy is Cognitive-Behavioral with the goal of practically leading a person to change.
Education/Experience
Dr. Ganey completed his doctorate, Psy. D., in Clinical Psychology at George Fox University, an APA accredited program. He has owned and operated a private practice since 2006 in Newtown, PA. In addition to running his own group practice, Dr. helped develop another local mental health practice that offers in home therapy for children and adolescents. He continues to provide evaluations, training and supervision for this agency. Dr. Ganey is actively involved with the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and volunteers on the Electronic Media Coordination Committee. Dr. Ganey also teaches online for a large university.
