Professional Statement
My ideal client is at any age in the lifespan and willing to engage in therapy to heal, grow or simply feel better. I am able to work with a variety of people from different populations due to my non-judgmental stance and curiosity about other people. I am adept at working with individuals who experience multiple problems simultaneously due to my willingness to work with other providers and supportive group/individual services.
I focus on encouraging less suffering and more contentment in my client's lives based on their unique needs and goals. I take an Existential-Humanistic perspective blended with an understanding of each individual's unique character defenses to focus on emotions in the moment. I pull from many intervention modalities to tailor an evidence-based and individual treatment plan that naturally evolves as the client does.

Education/Experience
The bulk of my training has involved treating adult individuals who have experienced chronic trauma in their lives. My educational specialty is health psychology and treating individuals who also struggle with chronic medical conditions and addressing the mind-body connection is critical to my clinical "tool belt."
