Professional Statement

Living with a difference, like a chronic health condition or a disability, can feel challenging at times. It may feel especially stressful and overwhelming during the pandemic. As a clinical psychologist specializing in rehabilitation psychology, I help individuals to cope, adapt, and adjust during stressful life changes and transitions.

I have extensive experience working with individuals to address anxiety disorders, mood disorders, adjustment issues, grief & loss, body image concerns, social stigma, and relationship problems. I specialize in working with adults with chronic health conditions, with a special focus on autoimmune disorders such as alopecia and Multiple Sclerosis. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and integrative, and I combine a biopsychosocial perspective with various evidence based practices.

I am committed to inclusivity and disability advocacy and use affirmative principles that focus on strength and resilience to help individuals feel confident and empowered by their differences.

I am currently accepting new patients for telehealth psychotherapy.
