Professional Statement

I enjoy working with clients who wish to take an active part in their journey towards healing. My goal is to develop a safe, therapeutic environment so that you can feel most comfortable to engage in your treatment. While symptom reduction is often a primary concern, collaboratively, we will work to regain your agency and help you to live the life you want to live. I treat a variety of mental health issues and focus on tailoring treatment based on the specific needs that you have. I coordinate your care with your medical providers to leverage the work we do to promote your overall wellness.
I am a trained health psychologist, which means I incorporate a mind-body approach into my treatment, teaching you practical somatic-based skills (mindfulness, biofeedback, yoga stretching, diaphragmatic breathing) to reduce tension and stress in both the mind and body.
Mental and emotional pain is burdensome and very isolating. It often leaves us feeling stuck and hopeless. Thankfully, your present state does not have to determine your future well-being. Many individuals have enjoyed successful outcomes with evidenced-based treatments and go on to experience confidence, pleasure, and purpose in their lives.
