Professional Statement

Counseling services are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Through various treatment modalities, you will have an opportunity to explore unhealthy life patterns, address immediate personal challenges, and explore alternative ways of dealing with personal conflict/turmoil. The most important thing is the quality of your life TODAY. That being said, there are usually patterns of behaviors that have brought you to where you are today and we will take some time to explore those issues (but not dwell on them), so that you can move on to a healthier, happier life. Dr. Dilsworth is a holistic health practitioner who employs a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including yoga therapy and reinforces the simple healing practice of focusing on the body, mind and spirit.
