Dr. Chantelle Pseekos is currently a Licensed Psychologist in Rhode Island (RI) and Ohio. Dr. Chantelle has a Secure Video Counseling practice in RI and is the Founder of Counseling in Seagulls' Cove, LLC, including PAVICTS: Telehealth Services for Individuals, Businesses, Non-Profit Organizations, Higher Education Faculty & Staff, Young Professionals, Students, & Recent College Graduates. As an openly Non-binary person/LGBTQ+ community member and Counseling Psychologist, Dr. Chantelle passionately supports social justice concerns toward cultivating a safe, compassionate and affirming counseling experience for clients from a variety of racial, ethnic, sexual/gender identity-related, religious/spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Dr. Chantelle Pseekos has served in six university/college counseling centers in the Northeast, Deep South, Southwest, and Midwest, and has provided individual, couples, and group counseling services for college students across the country. Dr. Chantelle has written/published several books and articles focused on consciousness raising related to harmful stereotypes, promoting understanding of the importance of person-environment fit on workplace satisfaction and fulfillment, working with clients' metaphors, and enhancing our understanding of anger in impacting overall life and wellness outcomes. Remaining a long-term member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Divisions 17 & 44 of the APA reflects Dr. Chantelle's life-long commitment to social justice service in Counseling Psychology and service that includes support for clients who express gender and/or sexual diversity, as members of the LGBTQ+ community.
